• Account Credentials: First name, last name, email address, and encrypted authentication tokens.
• Academic Progress: Video watch percentages, playback timestamps, quiz scores, question attempt histories, and personal course notes.
• Billing & Transaction Records: Purchase timestamps, pass tiers, and Stripe transaction identifiers. We never collect or store your full payment card details on our servers.
• Technical Diagnostics: IP address, browser type, and device information used solely for security and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your personal information strictly for legitimate educational and administrative purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the LearnSE platform and video lecture streaming.
• To record course progress and accurately calculate graduation requirements for Certificates of Completion.
• To facilitate secure password resets and essential account verification emails.
• To prevent fraudulent access, unauthorized account sharing, and credential abuse.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted, industry-standard third-party providers to operate our infrastructure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties:

• Stripe: Processes all payment card transactions via secure TLS encryption with PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
• Supabase: Houses our relational database with Row Level Security (RLS) and encrypted authentication storage.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Delivers encrypted video streaming and course assets via high-speed Content Delivery Networks.

4. Cookies & Session Storage

We utilize essential first-party cookies and browser local storage exclusively to maintain your active authentication session, remember your playback preferences, and save your quiz states. We do not employ intrusive third-party cross-site advertising trackers.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

You maintain the right to view, update, or request deletion of your personal account data at any time through your Profile Settings or by emailing us directly. Certificate records and completed quiz scores may be retained as necessary to satisfy academic credential verification inquiries.
